Unfortunately, unlike social media, images and videos are uploaded using an external host.
It's dead easy to do but I'd much rather it was like Twitter where you can just embed an image or GIF directly.
YouTube videos are the easiest. Just click in the 🎬 icon in your menu above, copy and paste the YouTube link and the video will appear in your post.
For images, I tend to use imgBB. You upload your image there and then copy and paste the URL example:
i.ibb.co/8srhMnz/endlandvscotland1901soccer.jpg
into the IMAGE box in your menu above and the image will appear in your post.
